LADA Granta is a family of renamed models of Russian small — class front-wheel drive cars of the Volga Automobile Plant, previously named LADA Kalina, produced since 2011.<br>

The family initially consisted of a simplified, cheaper sedan — type body separated from the Kalina family and a liftback body based on it, and since 2018 it also includes all other types of Kalina family bodies. The release began on May 16, 2011, and sales began at the end of December 2011.<br>

Production of the updated LADA Granta began on August 14, 2018. The premiere took place on August 29, 2018 at the Moscow International Motor Show. The model's platform has remained the same, and the number of changes is typical for restyling, so a number of leading automotive publications in Russia call the model update a restyling, not a new generation.<br>

Therefore, after the facelift, the family received the unofficial name LADA Granta FL (short for Facelift). The VAZ plant itself calls the updated family the "New LADA Granta". Sales of new products began on September 1, 2018, and sales of Lada Granta commercial vehicles started on December 25.<br>

On February 8, 2019, AvtoVAZ introduced a training version of the Lada Granta, designed specifically for driving schools. The updated LADA Granta family, in addition to cars with sedan and liftback bodies, includes a hatchback and a station wagon, representing the updated LADA Kalina (the Kalina brand has ceased to exist).<br>
