Following the development of the S1 and SS package for the Ferrari 512TR I received many requests to give the Viper the same treatment. This is the result which adds the ACR Viper next to the original.
Details:

The Viper RT/10 ACR incorporates many performance and handling upgrades largely inspired by the ACR package which was available for SR2 (second generation) Vipers as well as a few sophisticated tuning options available to owners in the mid 90s to create an authentic and era specific rendition of a track-day Viper.

It is equipped with a slightly modified odd firing 8.0L Viper V10 with revised air intake, exhaust manifolds and hypereutectic pistons providing less expansion and more linear, higher power output. Furthermore a modified ECM raises the rev limit to 6600rpm and features revised timings. Slightly hotter cams as well as cat deletion in combination with the other measures result in 444hp and 650NM. Through these measures the power plateau is shifted back somewhat by around 600rpm but the classic Viper V10 power delivery characteristic is retained.

A Brembo high performance braking system has been fitted to deal with the added power output. KW Variant 2 Coilovers provide fully adjustable suspension to create a satisfying on-track experience.

Engine idle level has been raised to 850rpm resulting from the slightly sharper valve train actuation. Power transmission is handled by a customized limited slip differential with a stock 3.07 final ratio. The 6 speed manual transmission is retained and can now be fully adjusted.

The SR1 Viper ACR reaches a top speed of over 292km/h while the 0-100km/h time is reduced substantially to 4 seconds.

Enjoy!
