This is a project I've started to "faithfully" recreate the driving experience of the T-180 racing vehicles from the 2008 Speed Racer movie. The package consists of thirteen cars:
A T-180 is a racing vehicle that uses independent, computer-controlled 4WS to angle itself into a corner to obtain extra cornering force using a rear-mounted thruster. The steering wheel isn't directly connected to any wheel; a central computer determines the angle at which to steer each wheel for a certain steering input angle, chassis airspeed, throttle position, etc.
Custom Shaders Patch v0.2.9 or v0.2.10p1 is required for this car to work. The car also uses the Extended Controls app for bindings, including the most important and most used binding: the Turbine Afterburner control, which spools the turbine to full thrust and engages its afterburner. Use it instead of the pedal throttle during tight corners for extra cornering force and with the pedal throttle on straights for extra speed. However, the turbine's throttle automatically activates during turns and can be overridden with the clutch pedal, which doesn't work the car's clutch anymore (the cars are autoclutch only), instead adjusting the steering gains to temporarily allow more aggressive turns.

A suite of custom setup options is available to tune the car's steering computer gains and the artificial FFB effects.
