<b>Wimlin</b> started its life in the early 2000s, originally as just a drifting complex with the South-West Layout. The usual activities to take place were mid-tier competitions and private test sessions, for those who wanted to rent out the track for a day or two.<br>

After the 2010 season ended, the track was put on a temporary closure as big renovations were made to the facility, mainly to fit the rebranding of the track to the <b>Wimlin </b><i><b>Improvement Centre</b></i>.<br>

Re-opening back up in early 2012, it consisted of the advanced North-West Layout & East Layout and an entirely new pit & parking section. Also, the South-West Layout saw the addition of new run-off zones on the inside and outside of the corners, to allow novices to learn their cars without the risk of running off into the dirt or a wall.<br>
