After  a failed attempt to bring Indycar to Aruba in 1999, the country has  relied only on the drag strip located in the south region of the island  to attract  motorsport events.
In its area I’ve designed an FIA  Grade-1 International circuit, that uses a portion of the strip as main  straight and benefits from the hilly landscape to create a challenging  layout, particularly with the downhill snaking bit in Sector 3 and with  the COTA-inspired Turn 1.
