Starting on its version 1.0 on February 2021, and resuming on March 2023 with its version 2.0, these were more than two long years of development where I needed to learn everything from scratch on regards to track modding. For this reason, there are still some improvements to do on the track.<br>

The Autódromo Víctor Borrat Fabini at El Pinar - named in honor of the local racing great who was instrumental in its construction - is Uruguay's most important racing circuit and the home of AUVO, (Asociación Uruguaya de Volantes), the national racing association. Active throughout the year with a busy calendar of events, the circuit has recently been extended, providing racers with a new combination of corners for the first time since the mid-1970s.<br>
<br>
The circuit is located in the Department of Canelones, around 30 km east of the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo. This close proximity has been one of the secrets of its ongoing success, alongside its favorable location relative to Argentina and Brazil, whose major series have paid visits on numerous occasions, boosting El Pinar's importance as a regional racing hub.<br>

The circuit was built in 1956, opening in October of that year, meaning that AUVO was one of the few private institutions in South America to own and operate its own racing facility. In its original form it was triangular in outline, with a series of infield twists and turns adding variety to the rear of the paddock area. The perimeter course measured just over 1.6 miles<br>

Activo durante todo el año con un ajetreado calendario de eventos, el circuito se ha ampliado recientemente, proporcionando a los corredores una nueva combinación de curvas por primera vez desde mediados de la década de 1970.<br>

El circuito está ubicado en el Departamento de Canelones, a unos 30 km al este de la capital uruguaya, Montevideo. Esta proximidad ha sido uno de los secretos de su éxito continuo, junto con su ubicación favorable en relación con Argentina y Brasil, cuyas principales series han visitado el autódromo en numerosas ocasiones, aumentando la importancia de El Pinar como un centro regional de carreras.<br>

El circuito se construyó en 1956 y se inauguró en octubre de ese año, lo que significa que AUVO fue una de las pocas instituciones privadas en América del Sur en poseer y operar su propia instalación de carreras. En su forma original, tenía un contorno triangular, con una serie de giros y curvas en el interior del perímetro, que agregaban variedad a la parte trasera del área del paddock. El recorrido del perímetro medía poco más de 2,5 kilómetros.<br>
