Built in the 1960s the circuit in Syracuse was the attempt of the city with a long motorsport tradition to bring motorsport also to the south of Italy.
Despite an interesting layout, the poor safety standards and the competition with the legendary track in Monza never made it a candidate for major motorsport events.
This mod is a fictional Grade-1 redesign that preserves its heritage, while making it suitable for modern F1 and GT cars, with high average speed and low-drag configuration.
There are various points of interest, like the uphill double chicane at Turn 4-5-6 or the ultra-fast one at Turn 11-12-13. The banked turn 8 and 16 also catch the eyes, with the last corner designed to put cars at the highest possible speed into the main straight.
