Ascot Park was purpose built for horse racing in 1903, but by June 1904 it also began to regularly host automobile races as well. Being located in Los Angeles this track was arguably the premier dirt track venue in North America at the time. This version of the track represents the track as it was in 1915, just before the track was converted fully to automobile racing with the packing down of the surface and reprofiling to add some slight banking. The flat 1 mile dirt oval is representative of the 1904-1915 races held at the venue. The 1916 & 1918 versions of the track are included in our 1916 Indy Legends pack, as this track was the venue for the final race of the season and the 1916 Indycar awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles following the event.<br>

Our version of the track has 15 grid spots and realistic dirt surface effects. This track will give you a preview of the track quality found in our 1916 Indy Legends pack.<br>
