The VRC Tourers™ – Auriel 4™ is a front-wheel-drive touring car developed for high-precision circuit racing, following the technical philosophy of late-1990s Touring machinery. Its layout emphasizes strong front-end grip, stability under braking, and efficient power delivery through the driven front axle.
The power comes from a 2.0L naturally aspirated inline-4 engine with a high-revving DOHC design, producing 309 horsepower at 8,750 RPM and 265 Nm of torque at 7,000 RPM, paired with a 6-speed sequential transmission. The chassis features fully independent, adjustable racing suspension and high-performance ventilated disc brakes, allowing precise control and consistent braking performance.
With a race weight of 975 kg, the Auriel 4™ offers a planted, predictable driving experience that rewards smooth inputs and aggressive use of its all-wheel-drive system.
This mod does not represent a car raced in a particular year or season but a combination of configurations inspired by the golden years of touring car racing.
The CSP version of the car requires Custom Shaders Patch v0.2.11 Build ID 3465 or above.
